Eading Raven you will absolutely love December Moon It
than a worthwhile read Ellen Fritz December MoonThe Sagabook 2 *by Suzy TurnerI had ust finished Raven by Suzy Turner and knew that I d TurnerI had Assignment just finished Raven by Suzy Turner and knew that I d to eventually revisit world of Lilly Taylor aka Lillian Tuluga A universe where all imagined fantasy characters might exist and possibly do We certainly meet uite a varietyThe next day after I completed Raven I came home and my wife Virginia mentioned being three uarters of the way through a really interesting book Of course it was Raven and I knew right away that I d have to get the other two book I did that immediatelyThen the race was onVirginia loves romance novels I am partial to Science Fiction though I ve been known to read the occasional fantasy So that was one reason I had picked up Raven which turned out to be a fantasy paranormal romance novel Sometimes we find something which crosses both our paths and this series is one of those Being a slightly slower reader than Virginia I attempted to get that extra uarter of the novel lead on her I knew it was fruitless but it was fun and though she finished the second book a bit sooner than I I think we both thoroughly enjoyed itDecember Moon starts out with the beginning of a reveal about its namesake Up until now December has been Lilly s normal best friend whom she s had to hid her secrets from despite thier closeness Of Course in the world that Suzy Turner has made that s a condition that is about to change In this universe the special people have to hide the secret from the normals to protect themselves and possibly even protect the normalsLilly is still trying to come to terms with her new life as a changeling or shape changer She s dealing with the loss of her boyfriend because of the necessity to keep secrets and other complications She s still searching for her father who vanished last year But she does have her new found family and she is in constant contact with her friend in England December Sheust has to angst about not being able to tell December anything about the truth of her familyDecember has had a few strange things happen around her and is thinking she might be losing it a bit She s Philosophy of Religion just turning 15 and I m not sure is that s a major mile stone in England but she s about to discover that her father has left her an inheritance and that she s now free to decide where she wants to live She finds out the mother who abandoned her didn t really abandon and that she lives near Seattle Washington in the USA And December and her faithful servant Monty are about to embark on an adventure to the Americas where she ll be a hop skip andump from her best friend near VancouverDecember is about to discover that she comes from a family of Witches Her mother grandmother and great grand and so on have all been witches and December may likely end up being a powerful witch some day But she has to keep it a secret and that means she needs to keep it from her ordinary friend Lilly This begins the narrative dance which Suzy is so good at The reader gets a lot of reveals before the characters do so its fun to watch as they unnecessarily avoid issues because they think each other to be normalIt s all about to change because a dangerous Vampire has been stalking the community that Lilly lives in and they have b Just before December s 15th birthday she wishes for something to help alleviate something that gives her great angst and what she wishes for happens She also has a dream On the day of her 15th birthday life changes for her dramatically Leaving her aunt Penelope behind she ourneys to Seattle with chauffeur Monty to live with her mother Moira and ghostly grandmother Ruby and discovers she is a witch descended from a long line of respected witchesDecember and Lilly have stayed in contact throughout the year they ve been apart but now they both have a secret they re unable to tell each other That is until Lilly witnesses something horrific on her way to her aunt Rose s home and from that time December and Lilly s lives become tangled with. girls are odd and had found fast friendship in each other and in this book we find out they both have very special gifts I love this author s writing and the friendship between these two young teens is so special It s nice to read a book where there s no bullying and people genuinely like each other and are kind to each other besides the bad guys of course As an adult reading the book it was a bit slow for me but I believe young teens would become hooked right away The adults in this book treat them *As Their Euals They Are In The Fight Right Next *their euals They are in the fight right next the older characters doing what only they can do with their special abilities There is also some light romance which is ust right for the young teens which is another thing that the adults in the book take seriously As I said I think this is ust what a young teen girl is looking for in a book action thrills and chills mystery magic romance and the kids are treated as adults which is something that doesn t happen in most books Another wonderful book from Suzy Turner What a wonderful story Beautifully written with enough action mystery and romance to keep me reading I know this is a series aimed at young teens so expect the Disney esue emotions neatness Yes this is the middle book in this trilogy but the Happily Ever After feelings once again end this part Ebook DescriptionOn her 15th birthday December Moon discovers she is the descendant of a family of witches kept in the dark her entire life in an effort to protect her But when Lilly her best friend finds herself in danger from one of the world s most evil vampires December will do everything in her power to stop him December Moon is a fantasy novel for children and young adults set in BC Canada Once again the above blurb does not do this book ANY JUSTICE I could not read book 1 Raven fast enough I think I may have read this one even FASTER Normally when you read a seuel you expect a lot of back story and fill ins NOT WITH THIS BOOK This book is amazing This was the first full book I read on my new Kindle Author Suzy Turner has created an INCREDIBLE world where friends Lilly and December are two outcasts that find friendship in one another In book 1 Raven Lilly discovers a family she did not know she had and moves away from her only friend December December is left to her own devices and misery She is a very unhappy young lady and very miserable at her Aunt s house The chain of events that happen on December s bi. Rthday change her life forever How does one react to turning 15 years old and finding out they are *A Powerful WITCH December Could *powerful WITCH December could be happy She has her doubts of course because she went from an outcast 14 year old to a 15 year old witch with an incredible future When December finds her way to her best friend chaos and mayhem explode all around them and the two girls could not be happier Fighting a most powerful vampire will test their friendship to the limitsThis book is full of amazing story lines The characters are so well developed that you expect to meet them in the street You can picture the scenery and smell the forest You get so lost in the world that Suzy has created The magic in the book is both supernatural and astonishing as the story plays outIf you have not read Raven please go download it NOW and while you are there download December Moon as you will REALLY want to read them back to back You will be so glad you did This is a wonderful escape into a supernatural world of wonder and excitement tears and smiles hugs love and friends "I Am ANXIOUSLY Awaiting "am ANXIOUSLY awaiting 3 I am so excited to see where Author Suzy Turner takes us next The story behind December Moon Lilly s best friend upon reaching the age of 15 she found out she s a witch and that her mother kept her in the dark on purpose And without knowing she s off to help Lilly fights a most dangerous vampireAgain the story is at times confusing and boring I can t tell who s narrative it was since it switches from Lilly to December and there was even one that I noticed that it
"Was Supposedly December S Narrative "supposedly December s narrative it was written Lilly instead This time I d say it s YA and there is a lot of action in this book that I enjoyed there is humour drama and suspense and new characters are introduced Written on both December and Lilly s POV As a 2nd book to this series it was great It is on December as title indicates Coincidental occurrences are happening to her sort of like wishful thinking but they are actually rea beginning on her 15th bday She is told the truth of what she is and is reunited with her mom who explains to her where they come from and why she had to leave her with her aunt Penelope when she was ust a toddler While in Powell River there s been attacks on innocent residents by an evil vamp and Lily and her family are trying to figure out who s behind them Once they figure that out they all I mean ALL band together to stop the murderer before any deaths ensue at his hand strength in numbers I like that they all helped each other like family and friends should They got the murderer but lost lives of some friends family members Glad Oliver forgave Lilly is back in her life no secrets between them any Lilly hasnt given up hope on her missing dad I havent either Looking forward to the next Once I started reading I couldn t put it down In December Moon the second book in the Raven Saga Suzy Turner once again transports the reader into the exciting world of the supernatural The latest installment in this series takes the reader on an adventure in which December learns how to use her talent in order to protect her friend and interesting new characters both good and bad are introduced If you ve read Raven the first book in this series you will feel as though you are rejoining old and well loved friends in this second book Although there s lots of action and adventure in the story the pace is comfortable enough so as to give the reader ample time to savor every moment I also thought the characters to be very realistic and well defined Moments of suspense and intensity are expertly balanced by easy going scenes and enough humor to relax the tensionAs in Raven I was again touched by the warmth and love with which Lily s family and friends accepted December and her family into their midst Nothing however is always Comptia Cysa+ Cybersecurity Analyst Certification Bundle (Exam Cs0-001) just perfect blue skies so there are also some truly sad moments which will bring tears to your eyes I found myself completely absorbed in the story experiencingoy fear and sadness along with the characters If you enjoyed Nds herself in danger from one of the world's most evil vampires December will do everything in her power to stop him December Moon is a fantasy novel for children and young adults set.
